+ The Red Sox haven't clinched yet but they have won 7 in a row. The Texas Rangers have lost 4 in a row. This mean the Sox now have a commanding lead in the American League Wildcard race.
+ Chilly, cloudy, some sprinkles along the Erie Canal.

+ I am enjoying the wisdom I'm finding at the I'm Christian. I'm Gay. Deal With It! blog of Lutheran pastor David Eck who can now speak freely because of the recent lifting of the ELCA ban on openly gay pastors. Here are 2 recent posts I particularly like: "Priceless" and "Taming the Tongue."
