OBAMA LEADS IN 22 CONSECUTIVE POLLS
It's still very close but Obama has clearly become the front runner with 28 days to go. You can see that at PollingReport.com which tracks most of the national polls. Obama has led every poll since September 22. The Daily Gallup Tracking Poll shows Obama up by 8 points, 50-42. Four polls were added yesterday. Let's hope the CNN/Opinion Research poll is the most accurate: Obama 53, McCain 45. The latest NBC-Wall Street Journal poll puts Obama ahead 49-43. CBS and Democracy Corps both give Obama a 48-45 edge.
Obama and McCain meet tonight in a "Town Meeting" format in Nashville.
