- Straight-identifying men are statistically far more likely to molest a child, boy or girl, than gay-identifying men. In fact, straight-identifying women are statistically more likely to commit a sex act with a child than out (sic) gay men.
- Americans who identify as Republicans/Conservatives give far more to charity than Democrats/Liberals, despite the fact that liberal households tend to earn 6% more. Conservatives also donate more time and blood.

The giving statement is interesting. Are churches considered charity? Or Pat Robertson. Is he a charity? Even though the IRS does, I don't see church as a charity. They are businesses. I wonder what that stat would look like if it didn't include churches or televangelists and what all.
That's a really good question. Thanks for offering that insight. On so many social indicators, the Blue States really do show more compassion than the Red States and I think you just got to the heart of the matter. CB 136 addrsses this issue too. As great as charity giving is, economic justice gets to the heart of what the Gospel is all about.
