COFFEE BREAK 67

+ Updated at 1:20pm ESDT

+ At Wikipedia, I just found a great quote about a great star of the first half of the twentieth century: "I don’t mind going on record as saying that he is one of the few instinctively funny men on our stage", wrote reviewer Charles Darnton in the New York Evening World. "Everything he touches turns to fun. To watch him is to marvel at his humorous vitality. He is the old-time minstrel man turned to modern account. With a song, a word, or even a suggestion he calls forth spontaneous laughter. And here you have the definition of a born comedian."[6]:87.

I would totally agree with that sentiment after watching Hallelujah, I'm a Tramp on the Turner Classic Movies channel last night.

Can you guess who I'm talkin about?

+ Does Not Wisdom Call? offers a tribute to a 12th century bishop on his feast day observed particularly by Anglicans. You will see why if you read this post.

+ Yesterday, I was walking along the river with Gracie the poodle and found a parkbench (I'm looking for the best parkbench on the planet but this wasn't it ... or was it?) I was enjoying the ducks, the colorful leaves, the waves, the sky, the branches forming an arch just above me and ... suddenly I realized that the moon was shining in the blue sky right at the center of the gateway below the arch the branches had created. It was about 9:30 in the morning and I was simply awe-struck by how it all fits together.

We are intimately, intricately and infinitely connected by a matrix of unconditional, unlimited and uniting love which is miraculous, mysterious and marvelous.

+ YES! I do believe President Obama deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. He has changed the global conversation significantly offering hope and constructive ideas and new policies.

+ At The Abundancetrek Blog, I have begun a series of posts on A New American Narrative. Some of us are working on this new narrative because we believe it to be essential if we are to achieve sustainable abundance for our nation and our planet.

+ Oh no! The Red Sox lost game one of their play off series with the Los Angeles, California Angels of Anaheim, California (that's because the Angels have changed their official name over and over gain!) In 5 previous play offs, the Red Sox always defeated the Angels. Can they do it again?
