I am hopeful that this is a sign of things to come. We need to promote peace and justice in the Middle East with new determination and energy. Obama is sending the right signals by appointing a special envoy to the Middle East last week and by granting an interview to an Arab TV channel yesterday.
I looked in vain for the name of my Represenative in Congress, Michael Arcuri. I campaigned for him twice and I am disappointed. I hope he climbs aboard the Peace Train soon.
