Thanks to TruthDig, I discovered "Predicting the Nature of Obama's Presidency" by John Dean. He bases his thoughts on a book The Presidential Character: Predicting Performance in the White House by James David Barber. Excerpt: "Now the good news. After observing candidate Barack Obama, and reading his two memoirs Dreams from my Father and The Audacity of Hope, I strongly believe that he is a prototypical 'active/positive' president - under the criteria of Barber's analysis."
Barber's four categories are: passive/positive; passive/negative; active/positive; active/negative. Read the article and find out which presidents fit these categories.
