+ BASEBALL: The Red Sox are making a move toward establishing a dynasty. They won game 1 against the Angels last night convincingly. The Red Sox are the defending World Series champions. The Phillies beat the Brewers. The Dodgers beat the Cubs.

Tonight is the Vice Presidential debate in St. Louis. Sarah Palin gets a chance to show she is a worthy candidate for Vice President after a series of disastrous interviews. I expect that Joe Biden will be impressive and it will not matter that much how Ms. Palin performs. She has probably memorized many soundbites which will keep the GOP base happy. I doubt whether she will change many minds at this point. Obama-Biden are on a roll and it will last. The election will still be relatively close but Obama-Biden will prevail.
